Md. Mahmud Hossain obtained a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Bangladesh. After graduation, He worked as a lecturer at Uttara University, Bangladesh. In 2021, Mahmud completed his MS degree from University of Louisiana at Lafayette (ULL), USA. Besides, he worked on an Louisiana Transportation research Center (LTRC) project focusing on young driver safety. Currently, Mahmud is pursuing his Ph.D. in Auburn University, USA. His research goal is to improve road safety by analyzing crash information through data mining and machine learning techniques.
